2022 Active Kids Program


We are active kids providers and the $100 rebate is available for all school aged children (4.5 - 18 years).  

This program is available from 1st January 2022, but you must FIRST apply for a code from the Active Kids website (see below).

​​You will need to attend registration day in person for the following reasons:

  • A new player to the club.
  • A player moving out of Net Netball and into the 8's.
  • ​A New Players in the 8s.
  • A Player Registering to play in the 10s
  • A Player who need to update their  Player Card Photo whose existing photo is more that 3 years old e.g.13s and 16s
  • Any players requiring a uniform (see Uniform page)


All other players will NOT need to come to the Registration Day, and can just register online.


WHAT TO BRING ON THE DAY

  • PLAYERS IN THE 8S – Need to supply a copy of their Birth Certificate.
  • PLAYERS IN THE 10S -  Need to supply a copy of their Birth Certificate and  2 Passport photos.
  • ALL NEW PLAYERS (10's and Up ) -  Need to supply a copy of their Birth Certificate and  2 Passport photos.
  • PLAYERS UPDATING PHOTOS – Need to supply 2 passport size photos e.g. players in the 13s and 16s

Age Groups and Fees

All age groups are based on what age the player is are turning during the 2022 calender year.


Registration Fees


Net Round Robin (5-7's and under) $80

Set & Go (8 - 9's) $140

Juniors (10 - 17's) $195 - Includes Umpiring Fees

Seniors (block teams only) $185





NET (Learn to Play) Netball Program (5's-7's) 


Start Date: 7th May, 2022

Cost: $80

Uniform: No uniform is required - St Cath's school sports uniform (yellow shirt/blue skort)

REGISTER HERE

  • For Kinder and Year One children to gain basic netball skills in a fun environment.

  • The Net players participate in weekly training sessions then participate in a 10 week round robin event with other Netball clubs using modified rules and shorter games.

  • These games are played at Seymour Shaw Netball Courts on a Saturdays from the 7th May 2022.


Teams & Grading

  • Players will be split into teams based on skill and number of players. 

  • We try to accommodate playing with friends where possible.





SET Netball (8's and 9's)

NOTE: Players turning 7 yrs old in 2022 who will play in the 8s need to register here.


Start Date: 2nd April, 2022

Cost: $140

Uniform: St Caths Netball Uniform is required

REGISTER HEREREGISTRATIONS CLOSED FOR WINTER 2022

  • For players turning 8 or 9 during 2022 calendar year.

  • For players turning 7yrs old in 2022 calender year, who will be playing in the 8s.

  • Teams participate in a modified rules competition on Saturday mornings at Seymour Shaw Netball Courts

  • The competition runs for the 14 weeks with breaks during school holidays and long weekends. 

There are no official results, competition ladder or finals.

Teams & Grading: 

  • Players will be split into teams based on skill and number of players.   

  • In this age group the club try to accommodate playing with at least one friend where possible.  

  • Teams will be assigned a competition grade by the SSNA based on recommendations provided by the club, and previous team / player experience. (See 'grading' section below)



Juniors (10's to 17's)

Start Date: 2nd April, 2022

Cost: $195 - including umpire fees

Uniform: St Caths Netball Uniform is required

REGISTER HEREREGISTRATIONS CLOSED FOR WINTER 2022


  • Full graded competition run by the SSNA on a Saturday morning at Bellingara Netball Courts  

  • The competitions runs for 14 weeks with breaks during school holidays and long weekends.   

  • Game results are recorded by the SSNA and based on competition ladder.

  • The top 4 teams participate in the finals series (semi / final / grand final).

Teams & Grading: 

  • Players will be split into teams based on skill and number of players. 

  • If there are multiple teams per age group, players may be asked to attend a club grading day to assist with splitting the girls into teams.  

  • Teams going into the 10's will also need to participate in SSNA practical grading as a team to assign appropriate competition levels. 

  • Teams will be assigned a competition grade by the SSNA based on recommendations provided by the club, and previous team / player experience.




Seniors - 18's and over

Start Date: 2nd April 2022

Cost: $185
Uniform: St Caths Netball Uniform is required

  • Full graded competition run by the SSNA on a Saturday afternoon at Bellingara Netball Courts  
  • Any players wishing to participate in seniors will need to submit a block team registration. 
  • Individual players are not accepted as we cannot guarantee a full team.


Block Team Registration

  • Block registration of a team is mandatory for seniors.  St Catherine's does not allow block registration for younger teams.
  • If you would like to "block register" a senior team, please download and complete the Block Registration Form,
  • Then either email the completed form to stcathsnetball@gmail.com or print and bring along to the registration day.​​
  • NOTE: Each player must still register on-line individually.​



Grading

  • This will be used to assist with splitting players into teams, as well as to help the club provide grading recommendations to the association.
  • 10s & UP -If there are sufficient players for two teams, all players will be required to attend a Club Grading Day as this will be the Primary mechanism to assigning players to teams.

About Fees


  • Fees are used to cover SSNA insurance and registration fees, as well as equipment provided by the club (netball bibs, balls and training gear). 
  • Player fees also assist to cover the mandatory SSNA insurance costs for non-players (team managers and coaches) and other club costs.  We aim to keep our playing costs as low as possible, and do not seek to make a profit for the club.
